The Eucalyptus tree, old but strong,

Makes the world seem so long.

It sees everything from the heart

And makes new stories from the start.

Koalas eating eucalyptus leaves

Give nature something to breathe.

It’s on Gadigal land

And always gives a hand.

Swaying one way and another,

Little does it know it’s the last sway.

Lumberjacks come to make the tree fall

Koalas eat the leaves

Of that one specific tree.

Lumberjacks start hitting the tree

One hit and another

The tree comes crashing down

And hits the ground fast

With a very loud

THUD!
