The Eucalyptus Tree

Climbing branches, a speck of colour becomes visible
in the green kaleidoscope of leaves shifting in the wind.
Climbing higher, the speck of colour grows into
a colourful rainbow lorikeet arranging its nest.
Ants marching up and down the long, thick, bumpy branches
weaving in and out, reaching higher into the sky.
A tall tree like a building in a bustling city full of peace and life.
The scent of eucalyptus fills my nose
Clearing my nose from all the bacteria. 
Leaves falling from the branches like snow falling from the clouds.
