Deep blue ocean waves only, in my gaze.
The crystal clear coves glitter in the sun.
I breathe deeply in, sea spray is a haze.
The sun is setting, the day is now done.

A new day is here, the water still clear.
Working round the clock, ships have come to dock.
I've always had a fear when boats come near.
I run away and stop, my heart in shock.

On the second day the ships were present,
the water had lost its beautiful glow.
Now this had become a toxic dissent.
The ships were taking a terrible toll.

Dirty oils filled the once clear seas.
The ocean was ruined with obvious ease.
