The fallen sequoia

Underneath this sequoia tree
You will lay and feel free
You can watch the birds dance
And with a second glance
You can see the leaves fall
And the ladybugs crawl
You can watch the squirrels climb
And with time you can see this tree grow big and tall
But one day it will fall
And all you will have left of this sequoia tree
Is a distant memory
And now you will lay on a pavement so busy
With cars driving to a miserable city
Where no birds dance and you don't want to take a second glance
