The Family Tree

Soft and loving, calm and gentle,
when I see this tree, I feel as if I’m glowing.
 When I freeze in front of this tree I feel the breeze,
coming up from my shoulders down to my knees.
It smells like a fresh ocean breeze coming across me.
My face also brightens up at the beautiful perfection of this tree.
This tree that I see has a special name indeed.
The family tree is the name it goes by,
big enough for 5, 10, 15 maybe even 20 people!
It's so big that I can’t have it all to myself,
in fact, this tree is shared for everyone that loves it like me.
This tree, it feels like a mini home to me,
I can lay down on the branches with the sun beaming down onto me.
It feels as if I’m touching a soft blanket when I touch the tree,
I can hear the birds chirping above me,
plus, the kids on the playground, having fun, around me.
This is how I would describe tree.
