The Forest

The tall trees that tower over all,
Providing homes to all the animals around.

The soft cushioning of the moss
A parakeet green, 
Squelchy, fluffy,
Fine to the touch.

The leaves,
Emerald green leaves that surround a tree,
All reaching out towards us
Trying to reach the sun.

The fruit that feeds all the animals passing by.
Sweet, tasty, fresh.
The rush of a river hydrating all that come by. 
The calming noise of the leaves swaying in the sun.
Oh! What a wonderful place it is…
The forest.
