The Forgotten Forest

An empty, lost, broken remorse

All this place can show anymore

An overwhelmed, heartless place

Once a beautiful home and cure for pain

As one leaves, another one returns

Who wants to give it life again?

A soul that thinks they can save this place

But knows that it will never work

The only place this forest will live

 Is in the broken heart of an empty soul

Fading away, the leaves and the days

Will this place ever be a forest again?
