Stretching along the Queensland coast

Is a site of remarkable beauty and variety.

Home of sea turtles, fish, sharks and crabs.

Colour and life stretch out as far as the eye can see.

But beyond the paradise,

The reef is choking

In trash and ghostly white coral.

The reef is a living thing.

It has a body,

The fish are its blood,

The coral are its bones,

The marine life is its flesh.

The reef can not survive without them,

And they can't survive without the reef.

The Great Barrier Reef is in danger.

We must act while we still can.
