The Guardian Angels

It all started with an unpretentious chain of silver
one by one, vivid colours of rich ornaments became adjoined
denoting the pleasant and the momentous occasions one encounters
leaving the sentimental value close to everyone’s focal point.

Though in times when loved ones draw their last inhalation
the charms received, acts as a guardian angel
my eyes weeping with a tremendous amount of tribulation
but the baubles on the chain sends out a signal

I can smell their rich freshness
I can hear the murmuring of their soft voices
I can see the light as a guide during times of darkness
I can feel their delicate kisses

oh I wish to see them over and over
oh I wish to not be apart
but I know that they will be with me forever
especially, in my heart
