You dismembered my slender limbs

sheared me of my flaky tanned skin

extracted me of my rich golden blood

yet you dare shout for our protection

as you brag and gloat your accolades

leaning your body against my frame

idly plucking and ripping green strands from my scalp.

You rest your head under my flesh and bone

heal from my molten orange gore

warm your body with my shredded hide

and yet you dare smile with my child in your gloved hands

proudly affixing your badge of honour

as you stride along your stallion in shining white armour.
