As I walk along the barren track,

In the land of the Didgeridoos,

With the Kangaroos, the cockatoos,

And the clear and pretty views.

From the Rocky rugged coastline,

In the far Australian west,

Then you come to Port Macquarie,

where the scenery's at its best.

From Bunbury to Bondi Beach,

From Huonville to Longreach,

There’s Kakadu or Katherine,

Or Killiecrankie and Kingscote

Then you move to the Aussie outback,

With the deserts far away,

With the bilbies and the dingos

What a wonderful display!

Now you see this land Australia

What a wonderful place to be,

It’s a place of pure paradise

And a place for you and me.
