They swayed across with the idyllic breeze
Swinging  like a pendulum in such great ease
As the animals, trees and water woke from their slumber
they danced and pranced as they refused to sunder.

Thus moving gracefully like ballet dancers the leaves of the trees were such a wonder
As the marvelous they were, the flowers of the tree swayed with the blue sky in yonder
From the animals to the water knew they were meant to dance
Astonished, they came and had come to have a quick glance.

Effulgent,  the bypassers  eyes dazzled and gleamed
but the envy suffused inside their veins
as life was hard and miserable; they thought their’s was what they only dreamed
As the leaves of the trees, life was fun and theirs was plain
They had felt jealousy once again

The leaves on the trees as grateful and humble as can be
They never asked for water and entertainment unlike you and me
They symphonically wait from dusk to dawn
they would be excited to see even the smallest fawn.

“Dear trees… Aren’t you bored as you cannot grawn?”

The habitants of the forest
All felt embarrassed
As the leaves of the trees sang in a melodious way
Swaying with the wind and they said … “it is all okay!”
