The legend of the green and golden bell frog

Found in the wetlands of Australia, the golden bell frog roams,

green and gold in colour, and a sound that flows.

This frog is unique,

it has a different technique.

Wetlands are different than most other places,

it’s wetter than most with a stench that traces.

The trees are brown and green,

it’s a beautiful scene.

Beetles and ants are what this frog eats,

ants and beetles better hit the streets.

These frogs have a unique technique.

To find its prey, it has a way.

The water rat is a threat,

to these poor frogs bet they regret,

not bringing a bat, to hit this rat.

Good thing this frog can hide off to the side.

This frog is dying, not many are thriving.

To save this dear frog, we better look through the fog.

before death comes with a knife.
