The Life of a Red Fox

A small mouse darts 

out from the underbrush 

only to be seen by the keen

eyes of a hungry red fox.

The red fox seizes 

its prey sits down 

and starts plucking 

the bones out of the 

mouse. Finishing

its meal it darts 

forward. It dodges trees 

and jumps over bushes.

Its paws worn down and

hard from its active life.

They know their life is

short but they have 

never thought that

it's hopeless to try.
