The Magnolia Tree

The magnolia tree sits peacefully in the corner of the garden,
Warm breaths of air gently shake its branches,
Causing leaves and petals to fall from their perch
like magenta confetti,
Soft green grass lies beneath,
Protected by the swinging branches,
Now dusted with soft pink petals.
