The model of memories

Getting it out of the box is harder than you think,
Everything fell out with a loud clink!
Bit by bit out of the frame,
The paint was like an orange flame.
All built in one day,
Surely this work has to pay!
Blasted with paint, orange, silver and white,
Left to dry then ready for flight!
Tied by fishing line,
Hung on the roof so it can shine.
