The Most Special Bronze Medal

I worked so hard for it,
I tried my best.
I wondered if I would win a medal?
I felt like a stress ball, full of pressure.
I ran my fastest speed ever.
I wasn't first at the start,
But at the end I came at a special place.
The third place in the whole state!
Everyone that was there in Prospect was amazed.
They thought I wouldn't come in the top three.
I had the 2nd fastest time out of 16 for regionals!
Everyone was surprised!
And we all were happy
