The Myriad of Bungalow Palms

I wandered along the thin deck
That sits beside a body of water
Luscious green leaves surround me
A myriad of bungalow palms shine bright
And in the distance, there stood
A grove of towering palm trees
As symmetrical as a square
Elongated along the bed
Beautiful as a singing bird
Filled with radiant colours
Beds filled with plants and joy
Each one bringing comfort to one's mind
The myriad of bungalow palms
Belonged to me and me only
And yes they brought me glee
But also sincere solace
Contentedly, I would watch
Watch the leaves flow from side to side
For when I am splashing around
In the calming pool water
I gaze upon the myriad of bungalow palms
And the grove of towering palm trees
Each one brings me satisfaction
They are mine, and mine to enjoy
