The New Forest

Crack!

The forest it grew…it grew…

Tiny new flowers reaching for the sky,

Tiny new jewels appear like small sapphires

Blooming all around the forest!

The ground looks like a new garden,

Prickly bushes like a protected fort.

The trees begging for water.then it rained…

The forest re-welcomed its surviving guests. 

Wombats walking wonderfully, kangaroos hopping happily, kookaburras cawing carefully

It's too wet to sweat.

The forest revived its fallen protectors. 

How about we go on a journey,

The luscious greenery I stroke.
