The night died

The sun peeked from behind the rolling hills
If the day were to come then night had to fall so the dark skies left and the stars faded
The sun hit the river glistening into my eyes taking the dark from the sky
The sky started to glisten with a soft pastel blue
It rose bit by bit from behind the tree-ridden hills
It looked as if the day to come would scorch the lush green grass
The wind softly blew through making the bush sing a song
The sun being too bright to stare at caused my sight to go blind
Thank god for that, the day made me sick
GOODBYE NIGHT
