The Orange Bellied Parrot

The orange bellied parrot egg,

Had a dad,

And a mum.

The egg hatched,

So the dad went,

To get a carrot,

For the baby to eat.

The birds are rainbow,

With a bright orange belly,

And yellow feet.

They have a white nest.

The baby was the same,

As the mum and dad.

They shared the carrot,

And then finally one day,

The baby grew up,

And flew away,

To build it's own nest.
