Thrown away out to sea

Not thinking what will be

The consequences of a packet of chips

Timesed by millions, that’s what swims

In our Sea of Colours

But as we thrive on land

The seaweed no longer dances with joy

The waves no longer jump for us to enjoy

The dolphins no longer leap in fun

The crying coral is now almost done

Years ago

The Flowers of the Sea

Blooming, colourful, as bright as can be

But now the icebergs melt, each drop like a tear

The toxic gases make the sea too hot

The water’s warm, rising and healthy, definitely not

And our flowers turn pale

How long until they’re completely white?
