The Peacock

A bird flaps up its umbrella of many colours,
Twin twigs protrude from this vibrant, blue cloud.
Its ego, the size of the Eiffel Tower,
And their vanity, like a superpower.
Never afraid to be standing tall,
With beady eyes seeing all.
Exquisite and unique,
Proud and free,
A bright, carved gem strutting around me.
