The Poison Air

The wetland is a place where creatures with all features thrive and survive, 

then we came along, they had to hide and try to fly, 

soon they’ll have no place

unless we chase to embrace  

a safe place for the animals, 

because they didn’t have a stand or a demand of us coming to their grand piece of land, 

we took advantage for all these years because we didn’t care about their tears, 

the way they fight for their lives, we’ve stabbed them with knives, 

we think all we need is factories and greed, but we need the trees. 

Breathe the air, it's not fair,

the forest is falling, and no one cares,

we tear down a place that isn’t ours, but theirs.

Pollution.

Is it really the solution? 

What is our conclusion? 

Together we must stop, 

this mess we have created, 

to make a difference in the outdated. 

Because we are victims to our own greed  

- the poison we breathe.
