The Pond
By Heidi W
A drooping willow
A bellowing fellow sat,
A trickling song
The soft breeze stilled
and the ducks came to gather.
The fern frayed,
fibre spreading to the pond
as the little one inhales,
up comes a sneeze,
and the little feathers shine blonde.
