The Pygmy Possum

This creature is really hard to see

Don’t worry its bigger than a bee

Their tails are longer than a twig

Their tails are curly like a pig's

They eat pollen and nectar

They are a pollen collector

They eat banksias which is a flower

Don’t worry the flower is not sour

They’re in danger because the loss of habitat

They’re also in danger because of feral cats

They’re in danger because of climate change

This can cause them great, great pain.

I want one as my pet

But I don’t have one yet

But I guess it’s illegal to have a pygmy possum

But if I did have one I would love to call it blossom
