The Rain

Drip drop as the rain falls
It shines in the sky
Drip it hits the floor
The drops on the flower and the leaves
The sun disappears the clouds come
Grey like a dark room 
It's heavy rain
As puddles slowly appear 
And get more water like a flooded bathtub,
Leaves fall like they're diving into a pool,
You wouldn't want to have forgotten your umbrella,
But if you were in a car you could be racing your sibling 
With raindrops would win, to the bottom of
The window or maybe at home with a cup of coffee,
All cuddles up in a warm blanket.
