The sea slowly sways in time with my beating heart
Swish, swish
The slimy seaweed clings to my ankles like a worried child
Will the land greet me once more?
The reassuring fish swim beside me
I am not alone
The brightly coloured coral slowly fades
I am nearing shallow, sandy water
I faintly hear my family laughing on the sandy hot beach
I wade through the water towards them
I feel grateful for paradise and the adventure that awaits me.
