The River of Time

I came to the river to see its past
All of a sudden one side was clear the past has come to me
Native men were hunting and women were gathering
The other people were fishing and swimming
They had boats and houses
The time has changed
People need to know the beautiful past
I watch as the people in past went back to the tribe with their haul
They faded away as the history of the amazing river is doing
I ran to tell the people of the river as a gust of wind came along with the native men and women
The people should now know the history of the river
They didn’t fade away this time the landscape was there to stay
