Down the road lives a sakura tree
A kaleidoscope of an outburst of colours
Whistling, waving and whispering in the blue
The birds are suddenly growing out of the nest
Thriving, chirping, gleaming with independence
A tree once drooping
with dead bodies
Now fruitful, flowering
and flourishing
A tear cascades down
My mountain of reminiscing
I sit and resonate
Where has the time gone?
