The Setting Sun

The azure shade washes the pellucid sky
Ever serene and fair
The sunshine has an effulgent glow
Though light still be there
The azure shade soon fades
Into clusters of Oranges, Yellows, and Pinks
I lay there, gazing in at the distant horizon
The luminous sun soon seems to sync
Colours soon wash away
Clouds turn to stars
Lights turn to darkness
The sunshine turns into a moon
I have glimpsed the sunset many a time
It has always been a treasured image of mine
There will be no dejection or sorrow
As I will capture it all again tomorrow
