The Shattered Watch

Shattered,
the green looks really flattened
looks like it's been battered.
When it smashed,
time stopped like whiplash,
like a big crash,
everything’s smashed,
one million pieces gone like the flash,
it made a big crash,
cars beeping til they ain't fast.
I jumped as high as I could,
going to the hood,
running as fast as I could,
I look down at my watch, oh no it's... one o'clock.
Look, I don't care if you got a new chair,
looks like it's just been bought from a fair,
but the watch has more glare,
It's just been bought from the mayor who looks really unfair.
Bought from England who really cares?
me, I care more than you, I care more than them,
I care more than people with lots of money,
it ain't funny,
my watch is everything but money.
