Stepping foot in my soulful place
Amazing and as delicate as a strand of lace
The towering wonderful red waratah endangered but strong
We will help it live so very long
My friends laughing with glee
In bushland as far as the eye can see
Wallabies hopping and drinking in the scene
This gives me hope and somewhere to lean
Blue gum trees towering guardians bringing in absorbed warm light
Mother Nature watching us leaving feelings so very bright
Trudging down bush track trails
Gazing and hoping for a creature from the tales
Like the endangered black cockatoo
I must say to Mother Nature a big thank you
