Start of the end
Rabbits
Breed like wildfire
And do not stop to hear
The silent cries of suffocation that they cause.
Rabbits
Like black ink they spread
And swallow all that we once loved
Without a care.
Rabbits
You cannot stop them
Neither traps nor guns
Will ever break their merciless rein.
Rabbits
You beg for the end
But your screams are not heard
Not even heard by the ones who claim to listen.
Rabbits
They have taken over
Now you bow to them
And you are alone.
Rabbits
They say ‘You are acting differently’
But they do not know
About the ever-growing population
That knows no mercy inside of you.
One day
The rabbits will go
But their endless destruction
Will leave a permanent scar.
And you will never be the same.
