The swaying koala

The trees are my home
They swing side to side.
As I cling there,
I chew eucalyptus.
It's all peaceful,
It's all quiet.
Just the way I like it.
But not for long.
My claws shake, as the wind sways
A big yellow mouth comes my way
The sound intensifies, with every second.
BANG.
I look around.
I start falling.
I fall faster, and faster, and faster.
The tree howls as it falls.
The land becomes indistinguishable, as debris splatters up.
The birds fly faster, and faster
I lay there, a tear falls from my eye.
Wondering when it will all be over?
