The Tiny Tree

I wake up in the world 

I rise every day 

And a new leaf grows today.

I may not be tall,

But I`ve got it all. 

I'm growing so high today. 

Now 12 months in, I'm 

bigger than a bin. 

But w- - - -water is

 Low 

I am as dry as an empty riverbank,

But I don`t know

How long

I`ll go.

What rain on my head,

I grow and grow till I stop.

Now a newborn tree 

Sits next to me

In the sun 

With rain to come.
