The Tree

You stand there tall and proud
Covered with beautiful leaves
You have a brown body
That extends into many arms.
Many creatures call you their home
They cuddle up every night onto your branch
Flower bloom in spring
Bringing more creatures to you.
You grow from a little sapling
Into a tall figure
As time goes on
You get even bigger.
Then they come with their saws
Hammer and hit you
Until you fall to the ground
The creatures scatter away.
They take you away
Only a small part of you is left
But there is still hope
A new version of you grows.
