Flowers blooming, red and spiky,

Red as fire, tall and mighty,

Towering over all,

Making us feel small,

A green stem to lift it high,

Raises it towards the sky,

Well known by all Australian people,

Watching down like an eagle,

Standing tall when all is dark,

Leading strong to make a mark,

Strength, courage, healing, support,

Making sure we don’t abort,

Bringing power,

Supplying needs,

To help and aid us to our please,

The Waratah.
