The Water Cycle

Glistening  in the morning sun

not moving at all

smooth as a rock

melting away in the sun

water drop after water drop

drizzling away like a little landslide

seconds after seconds

minutes after minutes

soon as the sun went behind the clouds

it started to rain

shower, shower, shower

the sun back again

shining down like a mother over her kids

dripping into a puddle like a worthless rock

the freezing morning air freezing the puddle

the cold air wrapped the water like a cold hug

the water is ice once again.
