The Waterfall in the Forest

Water crashing like thunder,
Ripples like little waves,
Trees stand guard like soldiers,
Making sure everyone behaves,
The waterfall in the forest,
Shy creatures swim in the shallows,
Sly sneaking invisible burglars,
Peeking through great tree hollows,
And pouncing upon lush, bouncy grass,
The waterfall in the forest,
The sinuous trees swaying,
Holding an orchestra of squawks and squeals,
The monkeys swinging like pendulums,
Avoiding all the banana peels,
The waterfall in the forest,
All is quiet and peaceful,
You can’t even hear a sneeze,
I never ever want to leave,
In amongst the trillion trees.
The waterfall in the forest.
