The bananas baking in the sun with the sound

of kookaburras swaying in the trees,

Bananas lying on beach towels, slurping smoothies

just laying around like bums,

The long bananas snoozing around unlike farmers

working all day,

Sweating away while bananas lie around

sound asleep,

Not a worry in the world, but one day they

will know and understand never to take greatness for granted,

Now one day the farmers will snooze under

the palms watching the bananas do their work in the sun

Sweating and weeping and long wishing,

That they had not taken greatness for granted
