The World Won't Last Long

Bright white clouds fill the sky
With beautiful hues of blue and white
Lush, green foliage fills the land
Mother Nature held her creation lovingly in her hands
But soon figures arrived
And tall buildings and grey
Consumed the land, and the sky
And bright greens blended beautifully with reds and oranges
But beautiful things can be dangerous
And soon the trees were devoured by fire
And only black ashes remained
What once was as pure as God's domain
When first placed in our hands
We can restore what's turning to dust
If we just listened to Earth, our home, the planet
To remove the black that claws at our Earth
To end the suffering of many
And restore Mother Natures protective embrace
The choice is with you
What will you choose?
