Time Keeper

Old, rusty and broken…now.
Once, though, it possessed great beauty.
Hands frozen in time,
Fifteen minutes past nine.

I see her now.
Always happy.
Every day, a great big smile.
I feel her now.
Gently hugging me.
With me all the while.

Now I’m the time keeper
Of those memories, forever in my mind.
