It chewed upon me with its tiny teeth,
Its teeny tiny scratchy legs creeped upon my skin,
Though it pained me so, this tiny thing, would never go,
And I could never simply swat it,
O’ I wanted to believe it, that soon I will be left be,
But in the end, this teeny tiny speck upon my skin,
Is nothing but the distant cousin of the honeybee.

Its brain so small, its eyes so big, its giant, swollen abdomen
It watches me, but only sees an endless stretch of land,
O’ I don’t think it could comprehend how big I actually am,
I wish I could believe it, that this teeny tiny body,
Could see me as an equal, to nurture, feed and water me
But as I've learnt, these tiny creatures don't know a world outside their own.
