Together Forever

Snuggly and cuddly
Who keeps me warm at night
So I’m ready for the light
Faded yellow all over
With orange in a few places
There she lays on my bed waiting
Thinking that she is fating
Forever she is mine
I will always find time
With a tail so short
With feet so big
Her wings fly high
In the night sky
As soft as a thousand marshmallows
Calm collected and mellow
Mine not to decline
Together forever whenever
For when I am old she will tell the untold
Down generations with no hesitations
