Toy soldiers

The once raging sea had calmed after the rain,
but was still spotted with movement
as the boats carried forth a war that would leave devastation for years to come.
The soldiers made of nothing but plastic fight with all their might.
But this is their fate
as they live in a sandpit ruled by children.
