My toes dig deep into rich, brown soil

Wisps of bushy hair flow with the wind

A beautiful ring to signify my years

My twisted body thrives

As I take a breath for others

My tough skin as dark as chocolate

Peels away in thick chunks

As I stretch my arms out wide

I sway to the rumble

A prisoner, I stand tall

Cackles up high strike me

A fuel to the fire I am

A final breath I breathe

I ask, am I wanted?
