Tree Kangaroos

Big shadows dancing,

Large footsteps roaming around,

My family and friends,

Jumping from tree to tree.

Howling and hissing from danger,

Dangerous weapons flying at us,

Captured friends and family.

Tree kangaroos squealing for help.

Running from the trouble,

One by one disappearing,

Taken to a unknown place,

My kind is being wiped out to extinction.

To a unknown world,

Figures getting ropes and nets,

Cutting the forest in search of us,

Grabbing everyone.

Friends and family taken away,

Looking for the others,

Tree kangaroos hiding for their life,

Hoping that they don’t get found.
