Adorning your brown branches.
Tall, towering, terrific.
Your scars in your roots,
They tell me thousands of stories.
Alive, amazing, aspirating.
Even when your leaves abandon you,
Your beauty internally remains.
Serene, super, sensational.
When I look at you,
I feel safe,
You are my home away from home.
