Trees Dying One By One

The snow is melting and flowers are blooming

It’s a beautiful time till the white van arrives

 Two tall men with vicious saws

The trees started shaking more and more.

Chatting about how they will cut all the trees

Trees grind their teeth and shut their eyes

As the birds look in grief as they say goodbye

Men came closer with their saws

As owls grip tighter with their claws

Trees dying one by one,

We’re wrecking our land,

What have we done?

Kookaburras watched as it hurt their eyes

All their friends died

 What a surprise

So let’s work together, to save this earth

I know we can do it,

It will be worth.
